Thais Lopez-Espinoza is a Ph.D. student and Graduate Teaching Associate at the Ohio State University in the Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She is an interdisciplinary scholar trained in social sciences methodologies with an emphasis in qualitative methods. She has been teaching at the college level for seven years.

Thais holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and a master’s degree in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from the Ohio State University. She specializes in Disability Studies, Black Feminist Studies, and sexuality studies.
