Allison Susor Presents Research on Girls of Color and The Role Model Effect

WGSS major Allison Susor delivered an oral presentation of her undergraduate thesis research at the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum on April 3rd. Her research, titled "Role Model Effect and Girls of Color: Building the Next Generation of Leaders," draws upon data from the "Girls of Color as Agents of Social Change" research project directed by Drs. Wendy Smooth and Elaine Richardson, which seeks to identify how girls of color respond to role models in politics with whom they share demographic identity markers.
