Meg Downing has worked as an academic advisor at Ohio State for 14 years and has advised many majors across the College of Arts and Sciences. Originally trained as an anthropologist (archaeologist), Meg has been in higher education for the last 27 years. She and her husband recently adopted their first child, John, in December and they live a cozy life with two beagles (Waylon and Winona) and three rescue cats. Meg enjoys reading, history of all kinds, and crocheting. She is excited to be part of such a great department!
