In Autumn 2020, Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies launched a new LGBTQ+ Studies minor, available to undergraduate students across the university. Professor Shannon Winnubst, professor and chair of WGSS, recently discussed the goals and reasons behind the minor with the College of Arts and Sciences, as well as students' desire to educate themselves and others about LGBTQ+ identities and communities.
