Add to Calendar 2018-03-22 08:30:00 2018-03-22 16:00:00 From Stigma to Empowerment: Student Dialogue on Sexual Health (Teen Sexual Health Conference) The Central Ohio Coalition for Sexual Health is holding an all-day conference to discuss sexual health, share experiences, and learn from professionals who work in the fields related to sexual health and students who want to learn more about the topic.This student dialogue will lead students from stigma to empowerment through many sessions involving activities, speakers, panels and group discussions on topics related to safety, healing, and activism. Their goal is for students to leave the conference feeling more in control of their sexuality, feeling safe and empowered to express their sexuality, and having the ability and confidence to find resources and access knowledge about sexual health and wellness in their own settings and communities.Guest speakers will discuss and lead events on a variety of subjects, including a feminist sex ed presentation, the state of sex education in Ohio, doing work on sexual and reproductive health in Ohio as activists, self-defense, and much more! Organizations will have tables set up handing out information and resources, and breakfast and lunch buffets provided.Please join them for the event!
