Las Krudas CUBENSI is a hip hop group from Havana, Cuba who has garnered much international attention for their work as artists: they are the first openly queer, feminist music group in Cuba.  Krudas CUBENSI will discuss their arts-based activism and offer their perspectives on LGBT and Black feminist identity politics in contemporary Cuba.  We will watch an excerpt of the documentary Gay Cuba before the discussion.
