"In her directorial debut, Christy Turlington Burns shares the powerful stories of at-risk pregnant women from around the world. Inspired by her own experience, Christy suffered a serious complication just after delivering her first child; the documentary film reveals four stories from a remote Maasai tribe in Tanzania, a slum of Bangladesh, a post-abortion care ward in Guatemala, and a prenatal clinic in the United States.
The film first premiered in Tribeca in 2010 and then on the Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011. In between, it’s been screened on college campuses, global health conferences and various other events around the world. Contact us here to arrange a screening for your organization or school and the film is also now available for download on iTunes or purchase on DVD. And if you want to host your own watch party, you can download a watch party kit here too."
