3:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Hale Hall MLK Jr Auditorium
We graciously invite you to attend our Valentine's-themed event. Please save the date for the first ever WGSS-hosted Love Club where we will be creating a new tradition of undergraduate-focused dialogue that critically engages Love through its expansive implications. We hope to foster a student community where their own experiences occur in dialogue with WGSS theories and frameworks. This dialogue will be further nourished by graduate student and faculty participation. As a part of this first event, we will be creating cards and letters to archive our many messages of love. Oh, and there will be FREE food and sweets provided!
The event will be introduced by UGSC member Kashif Dennis and will be mediated by Dr. Ashley Smith Purviance, ThaĆs Lopez Espinosa, Amika Starr, Katie Johnson, and Bhada Han as they bring their respective research and community work to shape our dialogue on Love.
