Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Take Back the Night- "For All to See"

April 11, 2013
5:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Browning Amphitheater, by Mirror Lake

Take Back the Night is an annual rally and march to protest sexual violence. This event seeks to create a safe space to empower survivors of sexual, domestic, and gendered violence, and serves as a venue to educate our community on the prevalence of violence and the ways to prevent it.

The theme for 2013 is "For All to See." The impacts of sexual violence on many marginalized groups is often not talked about. We want to make the invisible visible and bring attention to those who sexual violence affects most deeply. We want to have these voices heard in our fight because we are tired of them being forced to be silent. Bring the struggles of people of color, of the LGBTQ community, of men, of the disabled, of the homeless, of those imprisoned, to the forefront.

This year TBTN will be in the Browning Amphitheater by Mirror Lake on OSU campus. The march will take us through campus and east of High (the route is about ~1 mile, and a shorter option will be available).
