Panel Discussion: “Queer Studies Across Race, Culture, Nation”
The Queer and Trans (of Color) Research Network, a FREE Center research cluster, is pleased to host a panel featuring OSU graduate students and faculty who will be presenting from their current works-in-progress related to queer studies. Featured Speakers: Irma J. Zamora, PhD Candidate, Department of English “Gentefied and Latine Sexualities”Julianna Crame, PhD Candidate, Department of English“Root-Bound Daughters: Queer Generation 1.5 Filipina American Experiences in Elaine Castillo’s America is Not the Heart”Philip Tuxbury-Gleissner, Assistant Professor, Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures“Perestroika Queer Periodicals: The Two Exceptional Decades of Lesbian and Gay Publishing in Russia” The presentations will be followed by open discussion.
