Join us on October 20th, when WGSS PhD alum Kristen Kolenz will lead a discussion for graduate students across all departments about strategies for developing a scholar-advocate profile.
Using her experience in nonprofit leadership and immigration justice, Kristen will share techniques and advice for integrating “academic” skills and frameworks into nonprofit and movement work.
Whether you are considering a nonprofit career or sustaining advocacy from the academy, this will be an excellent opportunity to learn how Kristen’s academic profile has been an asset in advocacy spaces, and to explore how feminist graduate training can prepare you for leadership beyond the academy.
