Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

This spring, the FREE Center is again hosting a semester-long in-person writing cohort for faculty and staff, which is called FemSem. It will be held on Thursday mornings, beginning on January 15th, from 9:30am to 12:30pm in University Hall 386B (the AAAS Conference Room).

There will be snacks and feminist colleagues building community as they work on research and writing projects. Please join us!

The first 15 to 30 minutes of each session will be devoted to sharing writing goals, challenges, and strategies or to discussing any other work-related issues that participants would like to discuss. The rest of the time will be dedicated to writing quietly together.

We hope folks will be able to commit to attending most sessions for the entire semester.
