Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Last year we raised an amazing $13,300--and this year we aim to raise $15,000! We can do it, but not without your help!

What is a bowl-a-thon?

A fundraising bowling party that you can be a part of by becoming a team captain, joining a team, or sponsoring a bowler! There will be prizesfor the top fundraisers. Not to mention a great afternoon spent bowling with Ohio's pro-choice community. Even if you're out of the area, you can create or join a team and be a "virtual bowler," and get involved by fundraising for choice.

How do I get involved?

Start a team, join a team, or support a team! Start a new team with 4-6 people you know. Each bowler or attendant is responsible for donating or raising a minimum of $50 ($30 for students), but we encourage everyone to raise at least $100 so we can reach our fundraising goal together.

Why should I get involved?

Lawmakers have done everything in their powers to take away a woman's right to choose...but we are here to give that choice back! Want to stand up for reproductive justice and make a difference? Then bowl for choice.

Without your help, women who reach out for help won't be able to access the abortion they need because of a couple of bucks. The bowl-a-thon accounted for a significant part of our budget last year and without the funds we raise through this bowl-a-thon, clinics will be forced to turn women away. The money you raise will have a direct impact on women's lives.
