- Graduate Student Support. To strengthen our commitment to have a more diverse and inclusive graduate student population and further the scholarship of underrepresented scholars in the field, we will offer additional research and dissertation support for WGSS graduate students to support their professional goals and leadership in academia.
- The Max Rice Jr. and Sarah Smith Women’s Studies Fund. This fund provides student and faculty support to create opportunities for Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies to advance the study of disability and/or sexuality. Disability Studies remains largely under-funded at OSU and we hope to enhance our current graduate students and faculty whose work focuses on these areas to expand the lexicon to challenge societal perceptions and representation.
- Program Support. This fund supports outreach and engagement Initiatives to provide hands-on experience for students that will strengthen their skills, develop leaders, and enhance long-term career opportunities. We also use program support to continue engaging scholars and enhancing our pedagogy through hosting renowned scholars who speak on emerging topics of feminist inquiry.
