Brownbag Panel on Difficult Subjects in the Classroom: Teaching about Violence

Teaching violence in the classroom has always been a challenge for feminist scholars. With the recent concerns over trigger warnings within feminist circles, this issue has taken on a new dimension. How do we teach the realities of gendered violence to survivors of traumatic experiences? This panel will be dedicated to the discussion of pedagogical approaches to the subject matter.
