What is femUNITY?

Why did we form?

FemUNITY was developed in 2011 as a means to connect WGSS undergraduate students with each other, with the department and with the feminist community at The Ohio State University.

Who can join?

All undergraduate WGSS majors and minors are automatically members of femUNITY.  Students then decide how much they want to be involved in the organizations, by serving as an officer or simply receiving our listserv emails.  The group supports all WGSS students!

What do we do?

As a relatively new organization, we are looking for new ideas and initiates to connect WGSS students.  This year we will continue the film series, professional development workshops for applying to graduate school and applying to non-profit jobs, a feminist book club, and much much more!

Who do I contact?

For more information, contact wgssadvising@osu.edu at 614-292-1021, or stop by the office in 286 University Hall.  In addition, as a WGSS student you'll receive information about our events and organization via the undergraduate student email listserv that is sent to all majors and minors.

We look forward to seeing you at our events!
