Graduate Minor Requirements



Required Core Course | 3 credit hours (1 course)

Choose one of the following:

  • WGSST 7700 - Feminist Inquiry I (3 credit hours, offered every Autumn) 
  • WGSST 7701 - Feminist Inquiry II (3 credit hours, offered every Spring)

WGSST Elective Courses | 9 credit hours (3 courses)

  • Choose any 3 WGSST course at the 5000-level or above for a total of 9 credit hours

Coursework Notes:

Graduate minors are strongly advised to take 7700 or 7701 as their first WGSS course.

How To Declare

Discuss with your faculty advisor to determine the appropriateness of pursuing a graduate minor in WGSS.

Minors are officially declare retroactively. Upon completion of coursework, submit the "Minor and Graduate Interdisicplinary Specialization" form in gradforms

After the "Minor and Graduate Interdisicplinary Specialization" has been approved and before your semester of graduation, submit the "Transcript Designation Request" form to have your graduate minor officially listed on your transcript.
