"Women of Maidan" Film Screening
Women of Maidan tells the story of women in the 2013-2014 Ukrainian Revolution of Dignity. Called to action after witnessing students beaten by special police forces, women brought energy, courage and support to the front lines of the revolution. As they worked for the dignity of their nation and a new future for their country, their combined power helped dislodge an entrenched political system.The director will be present for a Q&A after the screening of the film. This event will be hosted by the Center for Slavic and East European Studies.
