The course, “Women and Addiction: A Feminist Perspective,” offered by the Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) since 2008 and first created by Victoria Genetin topped a list of “63 College Classes that Give Us Hope for the Next Generation,” in the June 29 issue of elle.com. Another WGSS course, “Girlhood,” was number 47 on the list.
